Special Education: General Curriculum Certification Methodist University offers an approved Special Education teaching certification program in the area of Special Education: General Curriculum. Upon successful completion of all program requirements, students earn a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) or a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree and a North Carolina teaching licensure in Special Education: General Curriculum. Requirements for Licensure only or Lateral Entry Persons with a baccalaureate degree wishing to obtain licensure only or lateral entry through Methodist University must consult the Education Department for transcript evaluation and assistance for entry into the program. Scholarships and Financial Aid Methodist University offers excellent scholarships and other financial aid opportunities.
