Mary Catherine Pilkington, Class of 2014
Nursing

From being part of the first class of BSN students, to starting a National Student Nurses Association chapter at the University, to joining the Alpha Delta Pi sorority, my journey at Methodist University has been full of excitement and new adventures. I served as president of the Student Nurses Association at Methodist University, as well as president of the North Carolina Association of Nursing Students. I also served as chaplain for a year in my sorority. As part of the Student Nurses Association and a member of Alpha Delta Pi, I participated in many community engagement projects throughout my time at Methodist, such as volunteering at the Ronald McDonald House and taking part in the March of Dimes March for Babies walk.

I enjoyed being a student in the School of Health Sciences and it is exciting to see Methodist grow in this evolving field.
