Chris' House: At the Center of Student Life

Hours of Operation

7:00am-11:00pm, Monday – Friday
12 noon-10:00pm Saturday
1:00pm-10:00pm Sunday

Chris' House appears to be small home nestled between the Riddle Center and the residence halls, but the little house is a great deal more.

Chris' House houses the Student Activities program, where many of the happenings on campus get their start. The Director of Student Activities office is located at the house.

The Student Activities Committee (SAC) has its office here, too. They, along with other campus groups, frequently use Chris'’ House for meetings. There are computers available for students to surf the internet or check their email between classes. And lots of comfortable seating to catch a nap, if that's what you need!!

Students can hang out at Chris' House with all the comforts of home. Students can relax in the living room and watch television, or they can visit the sports lounge and see what is playing on the bigscreen high definition television. Coffeehouse performers, open mic nights, and all the “big games” can be seen in Chris' House. X-Box and Playstation tournaments are hosted at the house throughout the year.

Behind Chris' House is a large deck where students can enjoy the sun by day or gather for a cookout in the evening.

Continental breakfast is available at Chris' House Monday through Friday from 7am-10:30am. Items such as bagels, muffins, danish, cereal, fresh fruit, and beverages (coffee, juices, soda) are available for purchase with your meal plan or cash.
