Tamu Malaika Brown, employed with Social Security as a Claims Representative.
She also volunteers with GAL. She has not started Graduate Studies
but looks forward to it in the future.
Travis Lamont Smith, is employed with The Department of Juvenile
Justice and Delinquency Prevention as a Court Counselor. Currently,
he is not enrolled in Graduate School.
Spring, 2005:
Patricia Carruthers is employed with Cumberland County Department
of Social Services in Child Protection. At this time, she is not
contemplating Graduate School.
Enausa Davis-Robinson is employed with Army Community Services,
Fort Bragg, North Carolina. In her position, she serves as a liaison
between military families and the Cumberland County Department of
Social Services. Her position is located within the Cumberland County
DSS. She received her Masters in Counseling from Webster University

Carmella Barton, received her MSW from the University of South
Carolina. She is back in Raleigh, North Carolina and is employed
as a Clinical Social Worker.
Loretta Baskett, is employed at Cumberland DSS. She has applied
to the MSW Program at Fayetteville State University.
Lakeisha Brown, received her MSW from the University of South Carolina
with Carmella. She is employed as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker
in Virginia.
Tracey Hinds, received her MSW from Fayetteville State University.
She currently lives in Raeford, NC, and is employed as a Clinical
Social Worker.
Alice Price graduated from the MSW Program at Fayetteville State
University. She also works as a School Social Worker in the Harnett
County School System.
Phyliss Shaw is employed at DSS as a Social Worker Supervisor in
the Adult Services Area. She also has completed an on-line Masters
in Human Services
Carla Smith is employed as a Social Worker Director in a Nursing
Home. She also graduated from the MSW Program at Fayetteville State
University.
With regard to Ralph Littlejohn, he is busy writing a book At this
point, no Graduate School.

Lolita Innis, is employed at DSS as an Adoption Social Worker.

Connie Martin. On May 16, 2009, Connie received her MSW from Virginia
Common Wealth University. She is employed with the Military as a
Social Worker.
Larkita McArthur is currently living in Lacy, Washington. She is
employed as an Under-Writer with State Farm Insurance Company. She
did not go to Graduate School. This updated information was provided
on 8-21-09. .
Joyace Morin graduated from the MSW Program at Fayetteville State.
She is not seeking employment at this time.
Christine Smart is employed in the Cumberland County School System
as a School Social Worker. At this time, she is not pursuing a MSW.

Gatrien Bell is unemployed. She has had health issues. She is not
enrolled in Graduate School.
Cheryl Blackmon graduated from the MSW Program at Fayetteville
State, and is employed at Fort Bragg as a Social Worker.
Nathan Blanton is working as a Social Worker with Mental Health
in Sanford, NC. He has also applied to the MSW Program at Fayetteville
State.
Michael Carrion graduated from the MSW Program at Fayetteville
State, May, 2009. He will take his MSW Licensure Exam on December
11, 2009.
Lorena Fehlman is employed in the School System in Hoke County
as a School Social Worker.
Kenyette Fowler graduated from the MSW Program at UNC-Chapel Hill,
and is employed in Sanford County DSS (Child Welfare)
Shelia Grindle is employed as a Family Violence Prevention Trainer,
Army Community Service, Family Advocacy Program. She is getting
her Masters on-line with Michigan State University in Criminal Justice.
Phillip Hiracheta is employed in the Cumberland County School System.
At this time, he is not pursuing a MSW.
Gayna Holcomb. According to last information, she was a Cheerleader
with the Baltimore Ravens, and was enrolled in the MSW Program at
Howard University, Washington, D.C.
Emmett Jackson is employed at Fort Bragg in the Wounded Warrior
Program At this time, he is not enrolled in Graduate School.
Taliyah Jones. At this time, I am not sure of her status. The last
information indicated the husband was anticipating deployment to
Switzerland, and Taliyah would accompany him.
Paula Leonard is employed at Methodist University. She is currently
applying to Graduate School at Fayetteville State University (MSW).
Yolanda McAllister is enrolled in Graduate School at UNC-Chapel
Hill. She is expected to graduate May, 2010.
Lalita Sing initially took time to be with her young child. However,
she began employment with Fort Bragg in March, 2009

Joanne Burnett. I am not sure. She had expressed an interest in
Graduate School. One of her main concerns was being able to manage
school and her son.
Helen Godwin is working with a local Nursing Home/Hospice, and
is also attending FSU (MSW) Graduate School..
Paul Taylor graduated from the MSW Program at Fayetteville State
University, and is currently employed in the Substance Abuse Field
Sharon Valentine graduated from the MSW Program at UNC-Chapel Hill,
and is currently employed in Child Welfare in Wake County DSS
Stacey Williams is working with Cumberland County DSS in Adult
Services. At this time, she is not enrolled in Graduate School.

Isley Cotton is employed in the Cumberland County School System
as a School Social Worker at Margaret Willis Elementary School.
She applied to the MSW Program, University of North Carolina at
Pembroke but did not follow-through. As of January, 2010, she is
applying to Texas State University-San Marcos, School of Social
Work.
Carrie Green was previously employed at Fort Bragg. Her husband
has been re-assigned to Alabama. She has applied to Alabama A&M
University Graduate Social Work Program
Robin Childress is attending Graduate School at East Carolina,
UNC-Greenville.
Sarah Dillashaw. I am not sure.
Lynette Smith is employed with Carrol S. Roberson Hospice Center
as a Medical Social Worker. She plans to attend UNC-Pembroke in
May, 2010.
Krystina Lucas is Director of Discharge Planning, Carolina Rehabilitation
Center, Fayetteville, NC.
Susan Follum ended employment with Communicare, Inc, as a Social
Worker in July, 2009. She is exploring employment with the Department
of Social Services, Hampton, Virginia. She is also considering Graduate
School. As of February 9, 2010, Susan has been accepted to Catholic
University of America, Washington, DC.
Glenda Frazier is employed with Fort Bragg in Family Advocacy.
She has taken graduate courses through Webster University towards
a Master Degree in Counseling.
Kathi Mason is applying to Graduate School at Fayetteville State.
She is also employed with HOSPICE
Joni Tellis is employed at DSS in the Adult Services Section. No
Graduate School at this time.
Bridgette Simms is employed as a Social Worker with Communicare,
Inc. As of December, 2009 she is applying to Graduate School at
Fayetteville State University in their (MSW) Program.
James Milligan is employed at Fort Bragg, Womack Army Medical Hospital.
He is enrolled at Fayetteville State University in their MSW Program

Eileen Hood completed her MSW at UNC-Chapel Hill, NC. She will
enter the Navy as an Officer and a Social Worker.
Tyrone Williams graduated from Fayetteville State University May,
2009, with a MSW. He became employed as a Foster Care Social Worker
in the Teen Unit, Cumberland County DSS December, 2009.
Christopher Parker is pastoring his church, and applying to Fayetteville
State University (MSW).
Timothy Light is employed at Fort Bragg, NC, with the Wounded Warrior
Program. At this time, he is not enrolled in graduate school.
Veronica Pierce is employed at Safe Haven Visitation Center. At
this time, she is not enrolled in graduate school.
Maggie Coen-Rollins has re-entered the military, and is serving
as the EEO Director. She has taken graduate courses through Webster
University (Master in Counseling).

Erin Craig has been accepted to Graduate School at Simmons College,
Boston, Massachusetts (MSW). As of December, 2009. Erwin has decided
not to attend Simmons College, Boston Massachusetts. She has moved
to New Concord, Ohio, and is applying to Ohio State University (MSW).
Brendalis Rios plans for Graduate School have been put on hold.
As of April, 2009, she is pregnant with twins.
Teresa Brown is employed as a Social Worker with Family Advocacy,
Fort Sill, Oklahoma. At this time, she is not enrolled in Graduate
School. As of October 8, 2009, the student advised that she has
written and published a book entitled: On Your Best Day. It can

Allison Hines is employed in the Cumberland County School System
(E.E. Miller) as a School Social Worker. As of 11-11-09, she plans
to enroll in Graduate School (Fayetteville State University) in
January 2010.
Felecia Nieves is not employed by her choice. At this time, she
is not enrolled in Graduate School. She is having health issues.
Talesha Williams is employed with the Social Security Administration,
Fayetteville, NC. At this time, she is not enrolled in Graduate

Doris Mcphatter is employed with Mental Health. She has expressed
interest in Graduate School through UNC-Pembroke
Frank Moses is employed with the Military. At this time, he is

Amanda Underwood is employed in Retail. She has expressed an interest
in playing basketball in another Country. At this time, she is not

She is working to market her service, and increase her clientele.
She continues to reside in Fayetteville, NC.
Bobette Donaldson is employed with Teens as Parents (TAP) in Harnett
County, NC. She is expecting a baby in September, 2010. She has
also applied to Graduate School, UNC- Chapel Hill, NC.
Elaine Frangakis is volunteering with the Cumberland County Schools.
She has been accepted to Graduate School at Fayetteville State University
(Advance Standing). She will begin this Summer, 2010.
Jacqueline Kenney is employed with Cape Fear Hospital. She is considering
Graduate School, however, her plans are incomplete at this time.
Christine Gregory is employed with Sanford Community College in
their Adult Bacic Education Department. She has applied to Fayetteville
State University Graduate Social Work Program. Due to an administrative
mix-up, she will begin not this Summer but the Summer, 2011.
Kenneth Washington is recovering from hip replacement surgery.
Timothy Reeves, completed his Social Work Degree requirements.
He is enrolled in courses this semester in completion of his Sociology
Degree. He has been accepted to the University Of Texas At Austin
School Of Social Work. He will begin Summer, 2010.
Spring, 2010: The Mighty Duo
Jessalyn Lykins is completing her Internship in the Cumberland
County School System. She is placed with Richard Droney, School
Social Worker who has responsibility for Cumberland Road and Cumberland
Mills Elementary Schools. She has also applied to Graduate School
at East Carolina University, Greenville, NC.
Shelly Savoy is completing her Internship with the Cumberland County
Department of Social Services. She is placed in the Child Welfare
Section and is under the supervision of Teresa Cole, Supervisor
of the Interstate Unit. She is interested in employment in Child
Welfare. Ultimately, she plans to attend Graduate School (at a later
time).
