Infinite Days by Rebecca Maizel

Infinite Days has been one of the better books I have read in a while.  I really enjoyed the writing style of the author, as other books about vampires have a tendency to say the words “like” and “so” way too often and it gets annoying.  With this book you actually get a feel that the […]

Claire Dewitt and City of the Dead by Sara Gran

The title intrigued me, so I picked up Claire Dewitt and City of the Dead. I know what you’re thinking, but it’s not a zombie book. It’s a mystery novel set in New Orleans after Katrina. The main character Claire Dewitt is looking for someone that hasn’t been seen since the storm. This is not […]

Bloodhound By: Tamora Pierce

This was a great sequel to Terrier. loved how Beka did what she needed to do, however I have mixed feelings with how the book ended,  With Goodwin behind the desk, I think things will be interesting, even thorough I loved Goodwin in the field.

Touch of Frost By Jennifer Estep

Touch of Frost was a pretty good read if you are into mythology characters and stories.  The book was on how a Gypsy girl who is an outsider at her high school, Mythos Academy,  and can touch an object and know information about it is pulled into solving a murder that took place at the […]

The Kane Chronicles: The Red Pyramid By: Rick Riodan

This was a great book. I did not know that much about Egyptian Mythology, however this book was fascinating, not only did it explain the different gods and goddesses, they seemed to almost be alive.  This was like the Percy Jackson and the Olympians series, however it has some differences that make it completely unique.

Mermaid by Carolyn Turgeon

The cover on the book caught my attention, and so did the plot of the story. This was an ok book, not something i would want to read again. The ending was way too sad, and i disagree with some points of the plot. It was a quick read, a interesting story.

Graceling by Kristin Cashore

Grabbed this book up when browsing for one,  the cover art captured my attention. The story was great, the plot was laid out perfectly. The characters were various, and encouraged the plot even more. The only discredit I can say about the book is the ending came way too soon.

Terrier by: Tamora Pierce

I picked up this book because I wanted some action. This book held me captive with the action and the plot line.  Pierce has created her unique world, and placed a variety of characters, making the book  and plot line one that holds reader’s captive and wanting more. Overall I cannot wait until I can […]
