Join me in congratulating Dean Crisp

I am pleased to announce that Dr. Del Crisp has accepted my invitation to assume the title of Executive Vice President/Academic Dean of Methodist University, effective immediately. This title is based on Del’s outstanding service and commitment to the university, as evidenced most recently when he served as Interim Executive Vice President from January 1 to February 28.

I have enjoyed getting to know Del and have already benefitted from his wise counsel and experience. I look forward to working with him in the future along with other members of the university community as we continue to move Methodist forward.

Please join me in congratulating Del on his promotion.

  1. It is great news to hear that Dr. Crisp has accepted the invitation of the Executive Vice President/Academic Dean of Methodist University. He is a great man of vision and wisdom and is wonderful at leading Methodist forward. I feel that with Dr. Hancock and Dr. Crisp that Methodist has found a team that will make it not one of the best private or small schools in the nation but will make it one of the Best Univeristies in the World. I see great things coming from the MU Family. Thank you Dr. Crisp for accepting the position and Thank you Dr. Hancock for seeing the great leadership that he brings to the University. May God truly bless you both as you lead us.

Dr. Jackson, thank you so much for your kind remarks. They are much appreciated. I agree that Methodist is well poised to take the next big step forward, but primarily because of such friends and champions as you.

      Best wishes,

      Ben Hancock
