Welcome to the Methodist University Writing Center! Our friendly and knowledgeable consultants support the entire writing process for students and faculty/staff who wish to utilize our free services. In addition to assisting with current writing projects, the Writing Center's goal is to foster the skills and confidence necessary for writing improvement that will lead to academic and professional success. The MU Writing Center is available for assistance with academic papers, creative writing, cover letters, resumes, graduate school applications, grant proposals, course syllabi, and more.

The Writing Center is located in Davis Memorial Library, Room 111. While walk-in hours are available each week, the Writing Center functions primarily as an appointment service using WC Online. You can register to use WC Online and/or make appointments by using the links on the left side of this page.

In terms of what to expect from a Writing Center appointment and consultant, as well as our expectations of you, please read the Writing Center Student Consultation Agreement.
