Teaching Philosophy:

My goal in the classroom is to offer a lively, open, interactive environment where students can appreciate the relevancy of the subject in their lives as they master the concepts.   I strive to make my classes participatory and enjoyable, focusing on real-world applications while holding students to a high level of performance.   I have succeeded if my students finish one of my courses certain that I care about them, their education and have given each course my best effort - and provided the opportunity and encouragement for each person to do the same.
