B.A., Dickinson College
Williams is entering his sixth season on the MU coaching staff. In Feb. 2009, Williams joined the Monarchs after spending four seasons coaching Dickinson College. Williams was promoted to Offensive Coordinator in 2011, as well as Assistant Recruiting Coordinator in 2013.
In the 2013 season, Williams guided a Monarch Offense that finished second in the country in total offense, as well as sending two players, Max Reber and Vaughn Cross, to the D3football.com All South Region Team. The 2013 season also saw the Monarchs finish in the top ten nationally in scoring offense, passing offense, red zone offense and completion percentage. Williams also coached quarterback Max Reber to a record breaking season in 2013, as Max was also named the USA South Offensive Player of the Year. Reber has set single season and career records at Methodist for passing yards, completions, pass attempts and passing touchdowns and finished the 2013 season as the nation’s leader in total offense averaging 364 yards per game.
Williams moved to the sidelines and became the Co-Offensive Coordinator for Dickinson after being a four year starting quarterback for the Red Devils. As a player, he set single-season records for passing yards, completions and completion percentage and is second all time in those categories. He graduated from Dickinson in 2005 with a bachelor's degree in International Business and Management.
In July 2011, Williams married his wife Suzanne, who is a third grade teacher in Fayetteville and was a two-time All-American Softball player in college.
