Bio:

Lisa Long is originally from Winchester, Kentucky. She is a 2012 graduate of the Master of Justice Administration Program at MU. She obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree with a double major in Journalism and Sociology from the University of Kentucky in 1999. Prior to coming to Methodist University, Lisa Long was a criminal intelligence analyst for the Fayetteville (NC) Police Department. While at FPD she was assigned to the Crime Information Center with an additional duty serving as an analyst for the city’s Rental Action Management Program. The Crime Information Center was designed to provide real-time criminal intelligence as well as closed circuit surveillance camera monitoring. Lisa was assigned to provide analytical work on many different criminal cases, however, her specialty was Sex Trafficking, Domestic Violence and Sexual Assault cases. Prior to accepting a position with the Fayetteville Police Department, Lisa spent 11 years working as a Department of Defense Contractor for the United States Special Operations Command, holding various positions.
