Mark Destro, Assistant Men's Lacrosse Coach

Mark Destro is in his first year as an assistant men's lacrosse coach at Methodist University.

Destro spent the last year as an assistant coach at Mount Union University (Ohio), where he worked primarily with goalies, defense, and the substitution box. Prior to his time at Mount Union, he spent two years at Sewanee (Tenn.), where he worked with the goalies, face-offs and the substitution box.

Under Destro, Mount Union Goalie Jake Krone received All-OAC Honorable Mention, and Sewanee goalie Selby Austin was two-time Southern Athletic Association Defensive Player of the Year. Sewanee made the NCAA Tournament both years Destro was there.

Destro graduated from Yorktown High School (Va) in 2008 and spent a post-graduate year at Mercersburg Academy in Pennsylvania.

A 2014 graduate of Catholic (D.C.), Destro also spent time at NCAA Division I schols Jacksonville (Fla.) and Manhattan (N.Y.).
