Douglas Lecorchick, Ed.D., is an assistant professor of Education at Methodist University. He primarily teaches STEM Education courses within the Education Department. Dr. Lecorchick’s area of expertise centers on students’ ability to formulate and navigate the problem space of design challenges using spatial reasoning skills. His most recent major work has been designing a six course STEM Certification pathway for an international high school in Suzhou, China. Dr. Lecorchick co-directs a 21st Century Leadership Academy within the International Technology and Engineering Educators Association (ITEEA) and was also awarded the 2022 Humanitarian award for his service to the profession. His doctorate was earned from North Carolina State University in the Technology Education program with a minor in Curriculum & Instruction.
