Justin Malloy

Justin Malloy Sr. is the Student Success Coordinator at Methodist University. He is originally from Dunn, N.C. He attended the public schools of Harnett County and graduated from Triton High School. He was led his football team in tackles for loss and won four conference championships while in high school. After high school, Malloy earned his bachelor’s degree from Methodist University, where he majored in Mass Communications, in 2017. He was involved in campus life by being a football player, SGA Senator, member of the Noblemen choir, and hosted many radio shows.

After graduating from Methodist University, Malloy worked for the Dunn Police Athletic League (PAL). Here he became the media arts coordinator and taught classes. Malloy also tutored students and was the weightlifting and assistant basketball coach. Malloy left the PAL to become a high school teacher at Cleveland High School. Malloy coached the linebackers in football and helped the team to win a conference championship and made it to the semifinals. While being a teacher, he went back to school for his master’s degree in Elementary Education. Malloy left Cleveland to work at Loyd Auman Elementary. While working at Loyd Auman, Malloy held roles as chairman of his grade level, a mentor in a program known as Men of Courage, and was the liaison for students from military families at Loyd Auman Elementary.
