Career Services provides services to students and alumni in a virtual format. We also offer scheduled, in-person appointments.

Appointments

Students and alumni can schedule virtual and in-person appointments through Purple Briefcase. Once your appointment is scheduled, instructions for connecting with your Career Expert will be provided by e-mail.

Appointment Type:

  • Career Coaching Session – speak with a Career Expert about your major or career exploration
  • Career Management Session – discuss next steps in your career journey (job search, graduate school, military service)
  • Mock Interview – schedule a mock interview 2-3 days before your actual interview with an employer
  • Resume or Cover Letter Review

Employers

Career Services posts career opportunities via Purple Briefcase. Please post your positions and we will work diligently to approve them so candidates may apply

Virtual Employer Engagement

Methodist University Career Services encourages employer engagement. In light of the COVID-19 pandemic, we support career development and recruitment using virtual technologies. Employers may post positions and communicate with students via our virtual platform, Purple Briefcase. If employers are interested in engaging students through information sessions or webinars, our staff is happy to facilitate the process.
