Submit Financial Statements

Submit financial statements, to geo@methodist.edu, demonstrating proof of one-year of funding covering the net cost of attendance as outlined in your acceptance letter.

If you use a family member’s financial statement, please submit a proof of financial sponsorship and relationship.

Pay Enrollment Deposit

After your financial statements have been approved, please submit an enrollment deposit. The deposit must be received prior to the issuance of your I-20.

Apply for the F-1 Visa

  • GEO will email you the I-20. This document is necessary to start your F1 Visa application.
  • Complete your F1 Visa application, schedule your visa interview and ensure to pay all related fees. Follow the link for further instructions.
  • After the visa has been approved, please email the scanned copy of your visa to Global Education Office.

Join Pre-Departure Virtual Orientation

You will receive emails with further information closer to the date. The agenda of the orientation is to discuss intricacies of the Methodist University onboarding process, U.S. Visa application process, and arrival to the U.S., preparation of arrival to the U.S. and Methodist University campus.
