Bio:

Arleen Fields, MSLS, is associate professor of information science and the Assistant Director of Library Services and Archives Librarian at Davis Memorial Library, Methodist University. She curates the MU archives and special collections, teaches library instruction classes, and manages library personnel and resources. The archives and special collections include publications and related documents produced by the university, records of Carolina College (Maxon, NC, 1912-1926), and various other collections. Of special note is the Lafayette Collection – one of the nation’s premier collections of memorabilia related to the Marquis de Lafayette, the young French hero of the American Revolution for whom Fayetteville is named. Arleen is vice president of the North Carolina Preservation Consortium and secretary of the Lafayette Society of Fayetteville, NC. She earned her M.S. degree in Library Science from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and a B.A. in Anthropology from the University of Virginia.

Bio:

Apryl Rosser, MLS, is a librarian and instructor of Information Science at Methodist University. She teaches Methodist University Journey 1100 and 2200, Reading Circle, and numerous other "one-shot" instruction classes for professors who bring their students to the library to pursue academic research. Ms. Rosser is a member of the North Carolina Library Association where she holds positions on the New Member Round Table, the Biannual Conference Poster Committee, and the Leadership Institute, of which she is a 2018 graduate and 2022 group mentor. Rosser received her MLS from North Carolina Central University and her Bachelor's degree in anthropology from the University of Wisconsin.

Bio:

Jennifer Taft, MSLIS, is associate professor of Information Studies and Reference/Instruction Librarian. She primarily teaches Library Competency as well as Bibliographic Instruction for her liaison areas including Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Physician Assistant, Nursing, Engineering and Health Care Administration. She has participated in the North Carolina Library Association's Leadership Institute, served on the planning committee for the bi-annual NCLA conference and has written and been awarded various grants through the State Library of North Carolina. Her areas of interest include methods for removing barriers for students needing research assistance. Jennifer received her Masters of Library and Information Science from Syracuse University.
