Methodist University Launches Three Online Programs in Health Care Administration

Methodist University Health Care Administration goes Online with Three Programs

Methodist University will launch three online programs in Health Care Administration this spring: a Bachelor of Science in Health Care Administration (B.S.), a certificate program in Health Care Administration, and a Master of Health Administration (MHA).

Methodist University’s online B.S. in Health Care Administration prepares students to balance health care theory and practice. Through this approach, students are given the opportunity to explore critical thinking processes that will have tangible benefits as they enter the field. Specifically, the coursework focuses on giving students the tools to respond to real-world challenges with modern, innovative health care solutions.

Designed for bachelor’s degree holders interested in pursing jobs in health care administration fields, the 15-credit Health Care Administration Certificate encompasses policy issues, finance and economics, and organization and leadership topics.

The online Master of Health Administration (MHA) responds to the need for highly qualified HCO executives by preparing graduates for leadership across the health care continuum, including health systems/hospitals, medical practices, consulting, long term care facilities, and others.

Interested applicants should visit one of the programs above or the Methodist University Online Web site for more information and to complete an application.
