Methodist University will welcome 550 new students, including 373 freshmen, when New Student Orientation begins on Thursday, Aug. 15.

Methodist University will welcome 550 new students, including 373 freshmen, when New Student Orientation begins on Thursday, Aug. 15. Move-in and registration open at 8 a.m. Orientation activities will run through Sunday, followed by the first day of classes on Monday, Aug. 19.

Among those on hand to greet the students and their families Thursday will be first-year president Dr. Stan Wearden. Campus and community volunteers, many from area churches, will be available to help students move into their residence halls.
