USTA Foundation PTM Scholarship

The USTA Foundation is now offering a scholarship targeting those High School seniors who exhibit a passion for tennis and plan on enrolling in a four-year program at institutions offering the PTM curriculum, such as Methodist University (North Carolina).

Qualifying students must have a GPA of at least a 3.0, demonstrate financial need and must also participate in a recognized tennis program (such as National Junior Tennis & Learning chapter, Junior Team Tennis).  Students must also plan on having a career in the Tennis industry.  Students applying for this scholarship will be required to provide a letter of reference verifying 4.0 NRTP rating from a USPTA pro or high school tennis coach of ranking.

A $10,000 scholarship will be awarded to one female and one male student enrolled in a four-year program at institutions offering the PTM curriculum.

The recipients of the Professional Tennis Management College Scholarship are eligible to receive $2,500 per year for a total of up to $10,000 to cover costs of tuition, room and board and educational materials. The scholarship will be paid directly to the college or university in which the student is enrolled and is disbursed annually based on the recipient’s standing with his/her college.
