I built relationships with my resident assistants, and I set a goal to become one. I am proud to say that being a resident assistant at MU was my first job, and it helped me mature rapidly. Since then, I have become a charter member and the first president of the Phi Gamma Chapter of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity. I joined Army ROTC, served as chief justice for SGA, and mentored first-year students. I am also former vice president of the Black Student Union. These experiences have opened my eyes to the many opportunities for involvement on this campus.
