MU Honors Grads with Virtual Baccalaureate & Graduate Celebration

MU Grads ring the bell!

Commencement is a long-standing tradition that celebrates the achievements of our graduates. It is the culmination of our students’ hard work over the course of the last four years (and sometimes even longer), and in the case of our graduate students, intensive study over a shorter period of time.

Winter 2020 Virtual Celebration

Methodist University honored its December 2020 graduates with a virtual Baccalaureate Service featuring readings and music from students, faculty and staff, plus a graduation Watch Party and Celebration, that included speakers, a presentation of the graduates, and the traditional turning of the tassels. These virtual events can be viewed below.

Professional Portraits

Methodist University offered graduating students multiple opportunities in the fall to get a free, professional portrait taken for the virtual celebration. Those that took advantage of that offer may also receive a digital version of that image to utilize as they please. To get your copy, please simply request at

Keepsake Digital Program

MU has put together a digital program for the December Celebration, for those who may want to print out a keepsake.
