“A-to-B” Transfer Scholarship

The transition from an associate degree to a bachelor’s degree has never been easier, more valuable, or more affordable!

Methodist University’s “A to B” Scholarship covers any remaining tuition balance after the Federal Pell Grant, North Carolina Need-based Scholarship, and any other scholarships have been applied. Please note that students will not receive a Federal Pell Grant or North Carolina Need-Based Scholarship refund.

To be considered for the A to B Scholarship, students must meet all of the following requirements:

• Degree Completion: Earn an Associate of Arts (AA), Associate of Science (AS), Associate of General Education (AGE), or Associate of Engineering (AE) degree earned from a partner Community College
• Enrollment Status: Maintain continuous full-time enrollment (12 or more credits per semester) in an MU on-campus program.
• Financial Aid Eligibility:
  • Qualify for both the Federal Pell Grant and the North Carolina Need-Based Scholarship each semester of enrollment at MU.
  • Complete the FAFSA to verify eligibility for both awards.
  • Have sufficient remaining Pell Grant and North Carolina Need-Based Scholarship funds available to apply toward tuition and fees each semester.
