Lot Restrictions

All lots are reserved for the assigned students, faculty, and staff members Monday – Friday from 7 a.m. – 3 p.m. After 3 p.m., the color-coded restriction is lifted. Faculty and staff reserved spaces remain enforceable until 5 p.m.

Visitor & Prospective Student Parking

Visitors who have cleared the Welcome Center may park in any lot on campus, any time of day or night. Prospective students and their families have reserved parking immediately in front of Stout Hall, the home of Admissions and Financial Aid.

Appealing a Parking Ticket

Go to the myMU Experience, you will find the appeals form under the Student ID Cards and Vehicle Registration. Remember, you only have three business days to appeal a parking ticket-don’t delay!

Registering a Vehicle

Methodist University students, faculty, and staff members are required to immediately register with the Department of Public Safety all vehicles parked or driven on campus.

Online Registration

You must enter your vehicle for campus parking online via the myMU Experience. For Faculty and Staff, go to the Police and Public Safety card. Click on the Faculty/Staff Vehicle Registration link. Complete the form and submit. Students once you’re on your myMU Experience, go to the Student ID Card and Parking Registration card. Then click on the Student Vehicle Registration form. If you have any questions, please call our office at 910.630.7149, Monday-Friday from 8 a.m.-5 p.m.

After you complete and submit the form, go to the Department of Police and Public Safety in the Campus Services Building Monday-Friday from 8 a.m.-5 p.m. The Campus Services building is located east of Duggins Soccer Stadium and south of Clark Hall and the Nursing Building.

  • Academic Year: $180.00
  • Single Semester: $100.00
  • Academic Year (PA/OT/PT): $45.00
  • Single Semester (PA/OT/PT): $25.00
  • Academic Year (Other Graduate Programs/Online): $20.00
  • Single Semester (Other Graduate Programs/Online): $15.00
  • Summer Session: $50.00
  • Additional Vehicle: $25.00

Methods of Payment

Customers may pay with credit cards when registering vehicles via the myMU Experience. Cash, checks, debit and credit cards are also accepted at the University’s Student Financial Services officer located inside the Davis Memorial Library.

Replacing a Registration Decal

Remove the campus parking decal as best you can and bring it to the Department of Police and Public Safety’s office Monday-Friday from 8 a.m.-5 p.m. for replacement. You will need to enter your vehicle information in your myMU Experience.
