Meet the Admissions Team
B.S., Methodist University Jackson Bingham, Admissions Counselor, is from Holly Springs, NC and originally joined Methodist University’s Admissions staff in September 2019. He received a B.S. in Business Administration and Sport Management from Methodist University in May 2019. He was also a four-year letterman for the MU Men’s Lacrosse team. Jackson is responsible for students whose last names fall between D and K. B.A. Shasta Culbreth, Associate Director of Admissions, is in charge of internal operations. Shasta’s duties include managing communications for accepted students, supervising the support staff, and coordinating campus visits. A native of Sampson County, Shasta has been an employee of Methodist University since May 1996. Jen Fleck, Admissions Administrative Assistant, joined Methodist University in July 2017. Her main responsibilities include coordinating campus visits, assisting with the communication flow to prospects, processing applications, and answering the primary Admissions line. Summer Gonzales, Admissions Counselor, joined the Methodist University Admission staff in 2013. Originally from California, Summer has called North Carolina home since 2004. Summer is responsible for students whose last name falls between A and C, and her travel territory includes various in- and out-of-state locations. B.S., Methodist University Bryce Kephart, Admissions Counselor, is from Spring Grove, Pa. and joined Methodist University admissions staff in August 2020. Bryce received his B.S. in Health Care Administration with a minor in Business Administration from Methodist University in May 2020. He also played lacrosse at Methodist University all four years. Bryce is responsible for the students whose last name falls between S and Z. B.S; M.B.A., Methodist University Jamie Legg, Dean of Admissions, joined the Methodist University admissions staff in May 1997. Jamie received his MBA from Methodist University in December 2009. His primary responsibilities include overseeing strategic planning in the admissions office, day-to-day supervision of the Admissions Staff, student search, research, special projects and admissions marketing. Jamie is responsible for students whose last name falls between N and S, and his travel territory includes parts of North Carolina. B.A. Rick Lowe, Vice President for Enrollment Services, has been at Methodist University since 1996. A native of Fayetteville, Rick has over 20 years of experience in college admissions. His primary responsibilities include supervision of admissions, financial aid, and veteran services. Rick does some in-state travel during the fall. Brianna McLoughlin, Admissions Administrative Assistant, joined Methodist University in 2020. Her main responsibilities include assisting with the communication flow to prospects, greeting parents and students who visit the Office of Admissions, and answering the University switchboard. B.A., Methodist University Taylor Murphy, Admissions Counselor, is a 2015 graduate of Methodist University, earning a Bachelor of Arts with a major in Political Science with a concentration in International Relations and minors in Legal Studies and Spanish. Taylor was active in numerous student organizations and was a Global Education Fellow and served as the New Student Orientation Captain, Resident Advisor, and on numerous campus committees. Taylor is from Toms River, N.J. and joined the Admissions staff in June 2015. Taylor is responsible for students whose last name falls between I and N, and her travel territory includes various out-of-state destinations.Admissions Counselor
