Bio:

Dr. McFerren earned her master’s degree in clinical psychology and has worked as a staff psychologist and mental health consultant. She specialized in working with young children and their families. After many years as a licensed psychological associate, Dr. McFerren decided to become a college instructor, so she pursued a doctorate degree in psychology with an emphasis in curriculum and instruction. Her current research interests include video learning and understanding the decision-making processes related to the use of instructional videos by undergraduate students.
