Bio:

Candace Langston, Ed.D., is assistant professor of Kinesiology at Methodist University. She is also the program coordinator for the BS in Health Science. She primarily teaches Research Methods, Internship, and wherever else she is needed in the Department of Kinesiology.  She is most passionate about how exercise impacts the whole person and enjoys helping students explore where they fit in this field.  She has most recently presented on the topics of body composition, leisure, and velocity-based training and is a contributing author for Human Kinetics and Wolters Kluwer.  She is a past president for the North Carolina Cardiopulmonary Rehabilitation Association and is actively involved with the American College of Sports Medicine and the Clinical Exercise Physiology Association. Dr. Langston received her B.S. in Exercise Science from the University of North Carolina at Pembroke, her M.S. in Kinesiology from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte, and her Ed.D. in Kinesiology from Concordia University, St. Paul.
