Bio:

Cathy Daniels is the Director of Ultrasound Education. She has over 40 years of experience in medical imaging and diagnostic medical sonography. She developed two curricula for a local community college and a Point-of-Care Ultrasound curriculum (POCUS) at a local medical school. She holds a Doctorate in Education with specialization in Instructional Design, Management, and Organizational Development. She is an ARDMS-credentialed diagnostic medical sonographer and holds several certifications. Her passion for teaching ultrasound is contagious, empowering learners to develop effective diagnostic critical thinking skills and scanning skills. She volunteers her time supporting local and state professional organizations and currently serves as a programmatic accreditation reviewer and site visitor.

In her free time, Dr. Daniels enjoys writing and quilting. She is the President of a local ministry, Be Still My Heart Ministries. She delights in speaking to ladies’ groups and professional organizations.
