Bio:
D’Asia Johnson serves as the Service-Learning Coordinator for the Methodist University Cape Fear Valley School of Medicine. In this role, she supports the development and implementation of service-learning initiatives that connect medical education with meaningful community engagement. She collaborates with faculty, students, and community partners to create impactful experiences that enhance student learning while addressing local health needs.
Johnson earned her Bachelor of Arts in Sociology with a concentration in Health Promotion from the University of North Carolina at Pembroke and her Master of Arts in Health Education and Promotion from East Carolina University. She brings a strong background in health education, program coordination, and community partnership development.
She is passionate about advancing health equity, fostering collaboration, and preparing future physicians and healthcare leaders to serve their communities through service and outreach.
