Kasi Turner is an experienced education professional, having almost 20 combined years of service in both higher education and the P-12 environment. During her tenure, she has held positions in academic affairs, student affairs, veterans affairs, enrollment management, and information systems. Most recently, she served as Executive Director of Information Systems and Records Management at The Mount Vernon School in Atlanta, Georgia. Prior to that, she held the role of Registrar at Morehouse College for almost 12 years.
Turner has been recognized by previous employers as a servant leader, a pioneer in areas of business process redesign, and an advocate for veterans programs and services. She was a founding member of the Georgia Association of Veteran Certifying Officials and went on to serve as president of the association. She describes herself as a process-oriented thinker, lifelong learner and collaborator, and human-centered solution seeker.
In her spare time, Turner enjoys traveling with her husband and children, entertaining family and friends, NFL football, and a good HIIT workout. She is excited to join the Methodist University community and is looking forward to advancing key strategic initiatives for the campus.
