Bio:

Dr. Maureen K. Mann, PT, DPT, is an Assistant Professor at Methodist University.  Her primary teaching responsibilities include Pediatric Physical Therapy, Gait and Movement Analysis, Prosthetics and Orthotics, and Psychosocial Aspects of Physical Therapy.

Dr. Mann has been a licensed physical therapist in North Carolina since 2007 and is an American Board of Physical Therapy Specialties (ABPTS) Board-Certified Clinical Specialist in Pediatric Physical Therapy. Dr. Mann has worked in hospital and outpatient settings, but her practice has primarily included home-based services for children in early intervention and older children with complex medical and mobility needs.

Dr. Mann completed her Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Engineering at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in 2000 and her Doctor of Physical Therapy from Elon University in 2006.  In 2019, she became certified in pediatric Neurodevelopmental Treatment (NDT).
