Dr. Victoria Ziegenfus

Bio:

Victoria Ziegenfus, OTD, OTR/L, is an Assistant Professor in the Doctor of Occupational Therapy (OTD) program. She teaches courses in adult and older adult interventions, neuroscience, and professional skills and techniques.

Prior to joining academia, Dr. Ziegenfus primarily practiced in inpatient rehabilitation, specializing in spinal cord injury rehabilitation. She has experience working with individuals with a variety of neurological, cardiac, and orthopedic diagnoses, helping patients maximize independence and safely transition back to their homes and communities. In addition to her rehabilitation experience, she has also provided occupational therapy services in acute care settings.

Dr. Ziegenfus earned her OTD from Methodist University and a BS in exercise science from High Point University.
