Methodist University is opening its campus to future Monarchs for its 2025 Fall Open House on Friday, Nov. 1.
The Open House is from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. and provides high school students (grades 9-12), transfer students, and their families a chance to see what Methodist University is all about. Please RSVP for the event on the Open House web page at methodist.edu/open-house.
“The Open House showcases Methodist University for everyone. From those who are already very interested in to those who may know just a little about MU,” said Jenny Xiong, director of undergraduate recruitment. “It’s a great way to explore our programs, learn about student services, and see our campus in person.”
Andre Richburg, Ed.D., vice president for strategic enrollment, said MU is focused on making college both welcoming and affordable.
“We want everyone to know that Methodist University is an inclusive place,” he said. “That means offering the right resources and helping families see that a private education can still be within reach.”
The Open House will also highlight the University’s student life, including clubs, organizations, and NCAA Division III athletics.
“Whether it’s an intercollegiate sport, intramurals, or a club tied to a student’s academic program, there’s a place for everyone to connect,” said Xiong. “We want students to feel they have a solid foundation and a support system from Day 1.”
Richburg added that a sense of belonging and connectivity is top priority at MU.
“One of our biggest goals at MU is ensuring that from the first contact to graduation, every student experiences a full life cycle of support,” he said.
Open House attendees will enjoy campus tours, explore curriculum, meet professors, and have opportunities to speak directly with Admissions counselors about financial aid and the application process.
