We also extend our heartfelt condolences to Vondre’s family and loved ones during this incredibly difficult time. We ask that you keep Vondre’s family/friends/classmates in your thoughts, respect their privacy, and be mindful of comments on social media (recognizing that any communications could be insensitive and painful to the family, friends, and close contacts). Further, these communications could be mistaken for authoritative statements of fact or official University messages. For this reason, MU will not respond to social media messaging on this topic. If anyone reaches out to you for official MU communications, please direct them to our Marketing & Communications Office ([email protected]).
Continue to take care of yourselves and all fellow Monarchs. We will share additional details when appropriate, in accordance with the wishes of the family, as they become available.
Sincerely,
Stanley T. Wearden, Ph.D.
