Methodist University’s Saturday was filled with health and wellness awareness and, of course, plenty of fun to go alongside it.
It all happened during the Cape Fear Valley Health Foundation’s Step Up 4 Health and Wellness Expo – welcoming hundreds of members of the community to MU’s sprawling 600-acre campus. The event featured a 4K and one-mile race/walk, and a variety of family-friendly activities that raised donations for health services that directly impact the lives of patients in the community, including the Friends of Cancer Center, Children’s Services, and Heart Care.
