The newest Monarchs from the class of 2029 have arrived and wrapped up a successful New Student Orientation. Classes began this week on Monday, August 18, and the stage is set for days of fun, connection, and unforgettable memories during this Week of Welcome.

The Headphone Disco, Cool Down with the D9, Know More, and Rise Against Hunger (15,000 meals packed for those in need), but the Monarchs are just getting started. Here’s everything the students can look forward to during the rest of the week:
Today, August 20
- “Plugged In” CIRCUIT Expo — Exploring student organizations and campus clubs at Berns Student Center from 11 a.m. until 12:30 p.m.
- Free Money Game Show — They can end the day with laughs and chances to win cool prizes in Berns Student Center, at 8 p.m.
Thursday, August 21
Get Rec’d Night — Unwind with recreation and outdoor fun from 7 to 9 p.m. at the Outdoor Basketball Courts.
Friday, August 22
Open Houses —11 a.m. to 2 p.m.: Student Affairs (Upper Berns), Student Veterans Center (Lower Berns), One Stop (Davis Memorial Library), and Religious & Spiritual Life (Matthews Ministry Center.)
