FAFSA: How to Apply

  1. Visit studentaid.gov to submit the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). The application opens on Oct. 1  of each year.
  2. Add our school code (002946)
  3. Create the Federal Student Aid (FSA) ID for all contributors.

Methodist University School of Medicine encourages students to file their FAFSA as soon as possible, and by May 1 to be considered for priority awarding of institutional aid.

NOTE: The 2026-27 FAFSA application must be completed using the 2024 Income and Federal Tax Information. It is recommended that you use the IRS Data Retrieval Tool to link your 2024 tax information to your FAFSA.
