Excitement is in the air as friends, family, faculty, and staff gear up to celebrate the achievements of 520-plus Methodist University graduates during Commencement 2025 on Saturday, May 3, starting at 10 a.m. at the Crown Coliseum.

The ceremony will recognize bachelor’s, master’s and doctoral graduates from the College of Arts, Humanities, & Sciences; the College of Business, Technology, & Professional Studies; and the College of Health Sciences and Human Services. Online students unable to attend will also be acknowledged during the event.

“Commencement Weekend is a powerful reflection of all that our graduates have worked for and all that lies ahead,” said Methodist University Provost Suzanne Blum Malley. “It is a milestone that brings together the entire Methodist University community in honoring the achievements of our graduating students as they prepare to take their next steps into the future. It’s a special time that celebrates not only their academic success and growth, but the dedication to the values that define us as Monarchs.”

Scott T. Hamilton, president and CEO of the Golden LEAF Foundation, will serve as the keynote speaker. The event will also be livestreamed, with the broadcast beginning 15 minutes prior to the ceremony.
