Community engagement gives our medical students opportunities to learn with and from the communities they serve. Working alongside community partners, students participate in health education, outreach, resource support, special events, and other service activities that respond to local needs while strengthening their understanding of the communities they will one day serve as physicians.

Student Voices

Alexandra Fouad

“Service has always been important to me because I find fulfillment in being able to help others and make a difference in their lives. Community engagement gives me the opportunity to connect with people from different backgrounds, learn from their experiences, and give back in ways that have a meaningful impact.”
