Graduation Requirements

The Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree includes eight semesters of undergraduate and professional level courses. Students will complete a minimum of 130 credits (110 didactic and 20 clinical). The first four semesters are spent completing general education and pre-nursing core classes. For students awarded transfer credit for previous undergraduate work, this time may be less. Once students are accepted into the Nursing Program, the last four semesters are spent completing nursing major courses (63 credits total). Students must earn a B- or higher in each NUR course.

Commencement

The BSN Program Commencement takes place in May with the University’s traditional Baccalaureate and Commencement events. After the student has successfully completed all degree requirements, the degree will be conferred, and the student will be eligible to take the NCLEX-RN Exam for state licensure.
