Accreditation

Methodist University is accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges (SACSCOC). The University has submitted a substantive change prospectus for the medical education program to SACSCOC. This is pending approval by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges board, anticipated in December.

The Methodist University Cape Fear Valley Health School of Medicine has received preliminary accreditation status from the Liaison Committee on Medical Education (LCME).
