Andrew Reger

Bio:
Drew Reger was born in Hollywood, Fla. and attended McArthur High school. After graduating in 2003, he went on to enlist in the United States Marine Corp and spent seven years at 4th ANGLICO, where he deployed multiple times in support of OIF. He completed a bachelor’s in business admin at Strayer University while finishing his time in the military. During that time, he also coached youth football before eventually getting into the High School ranks in 2016 returning to McArthur High School as a LB coach and being part of their 1st district championship since 2003. After that season he went to Miramar High where he contributed to three District Championships between 2017-2020. He also Coached Track while at Miramar High School. Drew left for one year to Taravella High School to coach the Defensive Line before getting his first college opportunity at Louisiana Christian University.
While at LCU in 2022, Drew worked with the safeties. During this time, he was a part of the first winning season at LCU since 2012. While working with the safeties, the defense was ranked 13th in the nation in total yards given up. The safeties room also accounted for 4 interceptions, 3 fumble recoveries, 1 forced fumble, and 96 total tackles during that season. While at LCU, he assisted in the weight room and obtained his USAW Level 2 certification. He spent one year at LCU before coming to Methodist University.
