Matthew Dempster ’11 has been named Methodist University’s new director of Institutional Compliance and Title IX Coordinator, effective immediately. Dempster – who previously held a director position at MU – has exceptional experience and expertise that should help him excel in leading our institution’s compliance efforts and ensuring a safe and inclusive environment for all.
Dempster brings a wealth of knowledge and dedication to this long-time, important position at MU. He has a proven track record in compliance management, having successfully implemented and overseen compliance programs in previous roles. His understanding of Title IX regulations and commitment to promoting fairness and equality will be invaluable in upholding our institution’s commitment to providing a safe and respectful learning and working environment.
As director, Dempster will play a pivotal role in developing and implementing policies and procedures that align with federal and state regulations, as well as our institution’s values. He will also be responsible for investigating and addressing complaints or concerns related to Title IX violations, ensuring that all individuals feel heard and supported throughout the process.
