With Veteran’s Day around the corner, Methodist University is proud to offer a week’s worth of events to honor those who have served.

As a thank-you to our veterans, Military and Veterans Appreciation Week includes a variety of marquee events including the Wreath-Laying Ceremony on Monday, Nov. 7 at 11 a.m. at the main flagpole across from the Horner Administration Building. With the help of the Student Veterans of America (SVA) and Chi Delta Chi, the University will honor our veterans with a touching ceremony that includes prayer, a laying of the wreath, taps, moment of silence and a keynote speaker.

Participants in the Step Up ChallengeAnother highly attended event is the Step Up for Veteran Suicide Awareness on Friday, Nov. 11 at 10 a.m. at O’Hanlon Memorial Amphitheatre.
