Writing Consultants

April April is an international student from Uganda who is a junior double majoring in marketing and business analytics with a minor in business administration. She enjoys going to the gym and reading in her free time. She loves being out in nature and the outdoors.
Elise Elise is a junior majoring in Criminal Justice and Forensic Science with a minor in Psychology. She plays on the Women’s Basketball team and enjoys reading her Bible, working out, and watching crime shows. Elise is a member of Ignite and CJSFA and plans to work in the Sheriff’s department after graduating.
Tucker Tucker is a Junior from Fayetteville, majoring in Business Administration and Political Science, and minoring in Accounting and Leadership. On campus, he is involved in the Honors Program, Student Government Association, Residence Life (as an SHRA), Orchestra, and Lambda Chi Alpha. In his free time, he enjoys reading classic novels, watching movies and TV, and spending time with family and friends.

General Tutors

Adam Adam is majoring in Computer Information Technology specifically in Cybersecurity and Business Information Systems. He enjoys watching TV shows and running. He is also part of the MSA at Methodist, and he hopes to maybe join a sports team on campus someday.
Aida Aida is an international student from Bosnia and Herzegovina. She is currently a senior majoring in Computer Information Technology with a concentration in Cybersecurity and minoring in Digital Forensics and Data Science. Aida is a Global Ambassador for Semester at Sea and is a member of both the International Club and Computer Science club. She enjoys traveling, reading, and helping people understand difficult topics in Computer Science and Math. She is very excited to work with you!
Angeline Angeline is a senior majoring in biology with a healthcare concentration. Some hobbies that she enjoys are singing, chatting with friends, and playing tabletop games. She is the Vice President of the MU Chorale, and she is very passionate about her studies. Angeline hopes to aid any student with biology, chemistry, or math-related topics to the best of her ability.
Blake Blake is a third-year student, majoring in Industrial and Systems Engineering with a minor in Applied Mathematics. Blake also plays Men’s Lacrosse here at Methodist University. He is the president of Delta Sigma Phi fraternity and the president of Greek Council on campus.
Caitlin Caitlin is a junior majoring in biology and hopes to become a veterinarian after college. She enjoys working with animals and learning about how their bodies work. She plays tennis for the university and has a twin brother.
Camden Camden is a junior majoring in Industrial & Systems Engineering with a minor in Mathematics. He is a member of the Methodist University Men’s Soccer team. Camden’s main hobbies outside of school and athletics are composing and writing music and playing videogames. He knows math can be hard sometimes, but with practice and commitment, he is sure anyone can succeed.
Emmanuel Emmanuel is a sophomore from North Augusta, South Carolina, he is majoring in Computer Information Technology with a focus in Cybersecurity. He is a member of Lambda Chi Alpha. He enjoys working out, playing video games, and watching new shows.
Evan Evan is a sophomore majoring in pre-nursing with a minor in biology. He enjoys spending quality time with his wife and daughter. He is also a veteran and a part of the pre-med club.
Gerardo Gerardo is an international student from El Salvador who loves exploring different cultures and meeting people from all over the world. He’s all about making genuine connections that last. In his free time, you’ll find him staying active with any kind of exercise or trying out new foods. He’s also a big coffee lover who can’t resist a good cup!
Hannah Hannah is the Vice President of Methodist University Student Nurses Association. She is dedicated and compassionate regarding becoming a successful nurse and wants to make an impact on the community while doing so.
Khosi Khosi is an Accounting and Business Analytics student at Methodist University with a strong academic foundation and an interest in helping others succeed. She enjoys explaining concepts clearly, working collaboratively with students, and supporting their learning process. She brings patience, strong communication skills, and a detail-oriented approach to tutoring.
Mario Mario is a Computer Science major. He enjoys coming up with alternative recipes to well established dishes. He has been tutoring for years but every session brings out a new facet to the topics at hand.

Graduate Tutors

Cara Cara is a second-year graduate student in the Doctor of Physical Therapy program. In her free time she enjoys working out, reading, hiking, playing pickleball, and spending time with her husband.
Isabella Isabella is a third-year Doctor of Occupational Therapy student at Methodist University with a strong academic foundation in psychology and health sciences. She graduated Magna Cum Laude from Appalachian State University, where she also worked as a research assistant in an eye-tracking laboratory. Her experience includes leadership roles in university organizations, clinical fieldwork in inpatient rehabilitation and pediatric settings, and collaborative work in healthcare-focused environments.
Josie Josie is a third-year OTD student and Methodist grad. She enjoys reading, cooking, and traveling. She enjoys being outside, and is a proud member of Fayetteville’s rugby team.
Reece is a second-year graduate student in the Doctor of Physical Therapy program. He enjoys video games and paddleboarding. He is also part of the Phi Kappa Phi Honor Society.

Student Representatives

C.J. CJ is a freshman majoring in Financial Economics. Originally from Mt. Airy, Md., they are also a member of the university’s lacrosse team.
Emmanuella Emmanuella is in her third year at Methodist double majoring in Accounting and Financial Economics with a minor in Business Administration and Business Analytics. She enjoys cooking, reading and watching YouTube during her leisure time. She is also the president of the African Students Organization (ASO).
Jonathan Jonathan is currently a freshman Business Administration and Management major. He has great people skills, is confident, kind, and respectful to others. He is excited to work and serve his school community.
Kairo Kairo is majoring in Accounting with a minor in Business Administration and Entrepreneurship. He enjoys fishing and going out with friends. He also plays football.
Lawan Lawan is a sophomore studying Communication and Media at Methodist University. His parents are from Niger, but he was born and raised in Beijing, China. He attended a French school from kindergarten to 10th grade before moving to a UWC boarding school, where he earned a scholarship to study at Methodist. Lawan is a member of the Pi Kappa Alpha fraternity and speaks English, French, and Mandarin. He hopes to use his skills to connect with people.
TyQuan TyQuan is a Junior in pursuit of becoming an Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA). He is also a member of the Men’s Track & Field Team. Some of his favorite hobbies include spending time outdoors, going to the gym, reading the Bible, and focusing on his relationship with Jesus. In his free time, he also enjoys watching anime/cartoon, movies, and TV shows too.

Isabella Isabella is currently a sophomore at Methodist University studying Forensic Science and Criminal Justice. She is a member of CJFSA and hopes to become a Crime Scene Investigator. She is also a member of the Alpha Sigma Alpha Sorority and holds the position of Vice President of Communications.
Kaleb Kaleb is a student who also participates in the Football and Track & Field teams. In his off-time, he likes to travel to new places around the world.
Lacey Lacey is a sophomore majoring in Biology pre-med. She enjoys line dancing and spending time with friends. She is also a part of the cheerleading squad and is also a member of ASA, SGA, SAAC, Pre-med club, and Delight.
