What is MU Loyalty Day?
As a one-day, 24-hour fundraising opportunity, MU Loyalty Day is designed to unite the Methodist University community to give towards an area they are passionate about. These gifts can go towards a number of different areas including scholarships, departments, and programs. Together, through your gifts, we can reignite the legacy of Methodist University! MU Loyalty Day will take place on February 29, 2024, beginning at midnight and ending at 11:59 p.m.

An education at Methodist University develops whole persons who will contribute substantially and creatively to the professions and to civic life. However, more than 97% of MU undergraduate students rely on financial assistance to attend.
Donor contributions ensure excellent students can gain an MU education regardless of their financial circumstances.
MU Loyalty Day is a 24-hour blitz beginning Thursday, February 29, 2024, from 12:00 a.m. until 11:59 p.m.
Providing a gift is easy. You can donate online on Thursday, February 29, 2024, from midnight until 11:59 p.m.
This is your opportunity to provide a gift towards The Loyalty Fund for MU supporting student scholarships which is our highest priority or the Methodist University area most special to you. After you donate, we invite you to share your experience on social media! Encourage your friends and family to participate by using #MULoyaltyDay
You can support specific MU programs by selecting “Other” on the online donation page and adding your designation.
Select “Other” and enter the name of the fund where you would like your gift to be designated. You can also call us at 910.630.7200 for assistance.
Methodist University accepts gifts valued at $5 or more.

Yes, your gift is entirely tax-deductible. Methodist University, Inc. is an independent, tax-exempt, 501(c)(3) charitable organization (Tax ID 56-0657294). For tax purposes, your gift receipt will be mailed or emailed to you after you make your gift.
