King's Grant Golf and Country Club
Since 2007 the PA Program has embarked on many activities to benefit
the healthcare community of Fayetteville and beyond. As another
year approaches, the students in the Class of 2011 hope to continue
this tradition by hosting their first annual golf tournament at
King's Grant Golf and Country Club on Saturday, May 8, 2010. Profits
from this event will benefit both The Care Clinic of Fayetteville
and aid in the funding of student registration and travel fees to
the national review for the Physician Assistant National Certifying
Exam (PANCE).

Methodist University has kicked off the Prescription for Success
Campaign. A campaign which will expand the Physician Assistant program
significantly and answer the call to meet North Carolina's rising
health care needs.

Our Physician Assistant studies are geared toward preparing individuals
who will be health care professionals licensed to practice medicine
with physician supervision.
Physician assistants provide services such as
- taking medical histories
- diagnosing common illnesses
- performing physical examinations
- ordering and interpreting lab tests
- setting fractures
- assisting and or perform minor surgery
- counseling patients
Physician Assistants are extremely beneficial in providing primary
care as well as medical care in specialty fields. A commitment

Prep Courses for the GRE
The Princeton Review will conduct
on campus prep courses for the GRE beginning this spring. Courses
consist of seven classes and have been set up to take the student
up to the test date. MU students ONLY will receive a significant
discount for each of these courses. To receive the discount code
students must contact the PA Admissions Director,
Interested students may enroll now for the course through www.PrincetonReview.com
