Prelicensure BSN Program
Students seeking admission to the Prelicensure BSN Program first apply to the University as Pre-Nursing majors. This allows the student time to complete the general education core curriculum requirements and nursing pre-requisite courses. For a freshman just out of high school, this will take about two years. Transfer students may take less time depending on the amount of transfer credit awarded to them by the University.
A supplemental application is made to the Nursing program typically during the sophomore year. Upon acceptance, students are formally accepted into the BSN Program and the remaining two years are dedicated to completing the Nursing curriculum.
One new cohort of students is accepted each fall semester.
