Community Health Education Curriculum Requirements

Degrees Awarded

Bachelor of Science (B.S.) with optional concentrations in Psychology, Communications, Health Care Administration, or Health & Wellness Coaching, Associate of Science (A.S.), Certificate in Community Health Education.


Major Requirements

The Community Health Education major consists of at least 51 s.h. – 40-41 s.h. in Community Health Education Core and four courses of 11+ s.h. of general Community Health Education electives with at least three courses at the 3000 level or above or four courses of 11 + hours in a Concentration.

Students must also complete PSY 1010 General Psychology as part of their General Education Core or as an elective.
