Kaplan’s Admission Test is a tool to determine if students have the academic skills necessary to perform effectively in a school of nursing. The Admission Test is a 91-question, multiple-choice test that evaluates the basic reading, math, writing and science skills of students seeking entry into a nursing program leading to NCLEX licensure. Copies of this guide are available for individual purchase online through sites such as Amazon and Barnes and Noble and may be available for check out at the Davis Memorial Library or your local library.
Methodist University’s Pre-Licensure Nursing Program requires an overall score of 65 on the Kaplan Admission Test. Scores are valid for three (3) years from the date taken. All scores must be on file with the Department of Nursing by the deadline date of February 3 to be considered with your application packet.
