Gina Maria Musolino, PT, DPT, MSEd, EdD is Program Director, and tenured Professor with Methodist University and formerly DCE with several top-ranked DPT Programs. Dr. Musolino has served as President APTA Academy of Education; FL Chief Delegate and Director, Florida Physical Therapy Association; APTA Health Policy & Administration Scholarship Director; and Federal Affairs Liaison, APTA Academy of Neurologic PT. Dr. Musolino received the APTA Lucy Blair Service Award (2012) for service of exceptional value to the profession. Dr. Musolino received the inaugural Feitelburg Founder’s Award, APTA, Academy of Education, Journal of Physical Therapy Education. Dr. Musolino was honored by Washington University with the Alumnae Award and Beatrice F. Schulz Award for outstanding clinical achievement. Dr. Musolino is senior reviewer, Physical Therapy Journal and contributing editorial board member Journal of Allied Health. Dr. Musolino serves as both APTA Level 1 & 2 Credentialed Clinical Trainer and was recently appointed to the APTA Credentialed Clinical Instructor Program Advisory Work Group (2020-23). Dr. Musolino’s scholarly works include over 30 peer-reviewed articles and textbook chapters examining critical components of professional formation. Dr. Musolino is co-editor/author of Clinical Reasoning & Decision-making in PT: Facilitation, Assessment & Implementation, 2020; & Patient Practitioner Interaction: An Experiential Manual for Developing the Art of Health Care6th ed., 2016, Slack Incorporated.
